Overview
Hossegor's beachbreaks are created by a unique submarine canyon that funnels Atlantic swells into some of the most powerful and hollow waves in Europe. September and October are the sweet spot — the Quiksilver Pro runs in late September, the crowds thin out, and the water remains warm enough to surf in a spring suit. The town itself offers excellent Basque cuisine, pine forest cycling, and proximity to Biarritz and the Spanish border.

“The Quiksilver Pro in late September transforms Hossegor briefly. We position members in VIP viewing areas and arrange dinners with the professional surf community during that window.”
